The Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme is run in partnership with Worcester Warriors Women's Academy.The DiSE is a qualification specifically designed for learners with an opportunity to be assessed on their ability to work towards and fulfil the role and requirements of an elite sports performer.
The purpose of the DiSE is to confirm competence within the elite sports arena, specifically the training environment of the learner’s chosen sport, for both the practical and theoretical elements underpinned by a range of competency-based evidence. DISE recruits players of potential to achieve the stated successful outcomes.

What does the course involve?
Students will be timetabled for a minimum of 12 hours of rugby related activity and be required to follow a personal rugby development programme. The DiSE will include the following aspects:

What can you do after the course?
The DiSE will prepare students to progress to a career as an Elite Rugby Player. Our dedicated and specialist staff will work with the student to discuss options on how they transition through the pathway and provide support for the students to decide what is best for them. There is a range of options, including further opportunities with Worcester Warriors or general currency for access to higher education courses.
Trips
Field trips are arranged as part of the course and include trips to the Worcester Sixways Stadium.
